We have an exceptional opportunity to join our private practice neurology
group in eastern North Carolina. We are located in Greenville and enjoy a referral
base of over 1.3 million people from a 29 county area. Our physicians have
the benefits of private practice and the privileges of academic appointments
to the Brody School of Medicine of East Carolina University. We are affiliated
with University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina and Pitt County Memorial Hospital,
which is a tertiary referral center providing acute, intermediate, rehabilitation
and outpatient health services to 33,000 inpatients and more than 266,000 outpatients
annually. The hospital has the only Certified Primary Stroke Center in eastern
North Carolina. Additionally, the medical campus offers a 75 bed CARF accredited
rehabilitation hospital. The practice offers neurodiagnostic modalities
including polysomnography, EMG, ENG, EEG, ultrasound and CT. We also own and
operate an ACR accredited MRI diagnostic imaging center. Physician compensation
consistently ranks at the 90th percentile of the Medical Group Management Association
( MGMA ) data base.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
East Carolina Neurology, a busy neurology practice, is seeking a qualified
nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our professional staff. Previous
experience in adult neurology is preferred; however, we are willing to consider
other appropriate experience. The position involves both hospital and office
based duties. We are a private practice providing a full range of neurological
services including:
- adult neurology
- neurophysiology
- neuro-ophthalmology
- intra operative monitoring
- stroke prevention, treatment and
rehabilitation

- vestibular testing
- sleep medicine
- neuro-imaging
- psychological testing
